Sophie Glynn

Sophie is a warm and affirming psychologist who is passionate about creating a safe, inclusive, and collaborative space where every client feels seen. As an LGBTQIA+ affirming and neuroaffirming practitioner, she is committed to providing a non-judgmental space that celebrates diversity but that also acknowledges the unique difficulties that may be faced by queer and/or neurodivergent people.
Sophie aims to empower individuals by helping them to recognise their strengths and approach their goals with self-compassion and curiosity. Sophie has experience supporting adolescent and adult clients with a range of concerns including but not limited to anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, addiction, relationship challenges, and emotional regulation difficulties. She also enjoys working with clients who are exploring their life direction/values, sexuality, gender, or neurodivergent identities.
Sophie uses a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities but primarily draws upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. These approaches are tailored to suit each individual client based on their circumstances and goals.
