Our Research
Q Psychology has various active research programs with a particular focus on LGBTQIAP+ mental health and neurodiversity.
Q Psychology is dedicated to best-practice, evidence based mental health care. This means we appreciate the role of science and research plays in our clinical work. As such, at any given time we are conducting various research projects to better understand individuals, communities, and mental health.
Have you gone through the WPATH process to affirm your gender? We’d love to talk to you about your experience!
We’re hoping to talk to people like you about what went well for you, and what could have been done better. We know the WPATH process can be stressful, so we want to hear from you about what we can do to make it a better, safer, and more affirming process for people in future.
Participation involves completing an online survey exploring your experiences completing an online survey exploring your experiences receiving a WPATH assessment (20 – 25mins). If you participate, you can opt in to win one of three $50 shopping vouchers.
Participants can also choose to participate in a 1:1 paid interview to further discuss their experiences receiving WPATH assessments. (You can choose to complete the survey and not participate in an interview). People who complete an interview will be reimbursed for their time with a $50 shopping voucher.
The survey is accessible via this link: click here.
