Our Research
Q Psychology has various active research programs with a particular focus on LGBTQIAP+ mental health and neurodiversity.

Q Psychology is dedicated to best-practice, evidence based mental health care. This means we appreciate the role of science and research plays in our clinical work. As such, at any given time we are conducting various research projects to better understand individuals, communities, and mental health. Contact us for more information about being involved in our research.
Project: Journeys from chemsex to sober sex for men who have sex with men.
Are you a man who has sex with men who has engaged in regular PnP/chemsex and then re-engaged in sober sex (either successfully or unsuccessfully)?
You’re invited to participate in a confidential 1:1 interview via Zoom to discuss what helped and/or hindered your journey from PnP/chemsex to sober sex so we can better understand these journeys. We invite participation from individuals who are at any part of that journey (i.e., those still engaged in PnP/chemsex and those who are not). Your participation will be private and de-identified.
You will be reimbursed with a $50 Coles Myer gift card for your time. This project has Deakin ethics approval: 2024/HE000725
