Serena Hillin
Serena is a kind and empathetic therapist, who works to create an authentic and understanding relationship with clients. As a non-binary and neurodivergent individual, they welcome clients who are experiencing difficulties with their identity, mental health, or life path. She uses a creative, solutions-focused approach to collaborate with the individual to find what works best for them. She also works with individuals from ages eight to eighty, adapting her language and therapies to suit the needs of the client.
Serena draws upon Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), LGBTQIA+ Affirmative Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy (Parts Work), and Narrative Therapy to help clients in a way that identifies their unique strengths and empowers them to feel more confident in resolving their challenges.
