Rachelle King
Rachelle values creating an authentic and non-judgemental therapeutic space with her clients. She appreciates the importance of taking the time to build this warm and compassionate therapeutic alliance. Rachelle has a special interest in working with individuals with concerns related to relationships and sexual health (including sexual pain, dysfunction, and anxiety). She also has experience working with individuals in the LGBTIQAP+ community, including those with diverse relationship structures. Rachelle welcomes clients exploring neurodivergent, gender diverse, or sexuality diverse identities. She is passionate about making therapy a safe and collaborative experience for all individuals.
Rachelle sees adolescents (12+) and adults experiencing a range of psychological disorders and has a particular interest in sexual health issues, gender and sexuality, anxiety disorders, academic stress, attachment issues, and relationship/interpersonal difficulties. Rachelle draws upon a range of therapeutic evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness. Rachelle values providing client-centred and trauma-informed therapy.
