Logan is a registered psychologist with experience working in diverse clinical and research settings. With an educational background from Boston University and the University of Iowa, Logan has contributed to research in anxiety, youth attachment, and ADHD. She also worked in schools and extracurricular programs supporting children with complex behavioral challenges. Now based in Australia, Logan has achieved full registration as a psychologist, where she continues to pursue her passion for inclusive, trauma-informed care.
Throughout her career, Logan has worked with individuals of all ages, from early childhood to adulthood. She is particularly passionate about providing therapeutic support from an intersectional perspective to neurodivergent individuals and those within the LGBT+ community, offering a safe, affirming space where clients can explore their unique experiences and challenges.
While Logan’s experience spans a wide range of presentations, she has developed a particular love in supporting individuals navigating experiences of complex trauma, eating disorders (particularly ARFID and restrictive eating disorders), self-harm, and psychosis.
In her work, Logan strives to foster a therapeutic environment that is non-judgmental, compassionate, and empowering. She views clients as the experts of their own experiences and works collaboratively with them to uncover the root causes of their difficulties. Logan believes in the importance of understanding and addressing emotional, sensory, and psychological needs to create meaningful, lasting change.
Logan integrates a variety of therapeutic modalities into her practice, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and yoga. As a certified YRT-200 yoga practitioner, Logan recognizes the vital role of body awareness and mindful movement in trauma recovery, particularly for those working to improve distress tolerance and reconnect with their bodies. She approaches therapy holistically, aiming to support clients in integrating their mind, body, emotions, and environment to cultivate safety, healing, and a sense of self-efficacy.
All of Logan’s work is informed by a trauma-sensitive, client-centered approach. She prioritises collaboration with clients and their personal and professional networks, ensuring each treatment plan is uniquely tailored to meet the individual’s needs.
