Emmett Radovich
Emmett is a provisional psychologist undertaking his final year of training at Q Psychology before general registration. Emmett has a warm, affirming approach, and values mutual authenticity and collaboration. His therapeutic framework draws on ACT, CBT and an interpersonal therapy; however, he adapts his approach to individual needs and strengths.
Emmett is a queer trans man with lived experience of neurodivergence and chronic illness. He has an interest in supporting individuals with ADHD, autism, GAD, anxiety, depression, health anxiety, and chronic illnesses, and how these experiences intersect within dividual and collective queer, trans and neurodivergent experiences and identities. Through a self-compassionate lens, Emmett strives to create a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their challenges and cultivate well-being.

Q Psychology is a training location for provisional psychologists. As leaders in LGBTQIAP+ affirming and neuroaffirming mental healthcare, Q Psychology recognises it's responsibility to support the next generation of psychologists in these spaces and is passionate about the development of psychologists through these programs. Provisional psychologists have completed at least a four year degree at University (three year undergraduate degree in psychology and a honours/graduate diploma fourth year). They are currently completing either a general registration pathway or a postgraduate Masters, Doctorate, or combined Masters/PhD. Provisional psychologists are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and are qualified to provide psychological assessment and treatment under the supervision of a Board-Registered Psychology Supervisor. As there is no requirement for a mental health treatment plan or GP referral to see a provisional psychologist, long-term psychological treatment without Medicare limitations is a cost-effective option via provisional psychologists.
