Carina received her Bachelor of Science degree (majoring in psychology) from The University of Melbourne and her Honours and Masters of Clinical Psychology from Federation University. As part of her research, Carina focussed on objectification theory and body image concerns particularly during the post-partum period. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society as well as the College of Clinical Psychologists.

Carina adopts a compassionate, warm and collaborative approach to therapy. She prioritises building a trusting and mutually respectful relationship to explore the needs and challenges of her clients. She provides a safe space for clients to understand themselves on a deeper level while feeling empowered to take steps to live more fulfilling and meaningful lives.

Carina works with both adolescents and adults. She tailors her approach for the individual needs of each client and draws on various evidence based interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy. She has experience working with anxiety, mood disorders, OCD, trauma, sleep, anger, body image concerns, attachment issues, stress management, and self-esteem concerns.
