Jhocelyn values a warm and non-judgemental therapy space that encourages curiosity and self-compassion, endeavouring to help her clients feel seen and heard in their experiences. She enjoys working with her fellow LGBTQIAP+ community members and works from a standpoint that is neurodiverse affirming and inclusive towards diverse relationship structures.

Jhocelyn welcomes both adolescents (16+) and adults to her therapy space. She works within a trauma informed and person-centered framework, applying appropriate skills from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to gently challenge the unhelpful patterns we fall into. Jhocelyn has experience supporting individuals with anxiety, mood disorders, stress management, phobias, relationship stress and self-esteem concerns. She aims to support her clients in understanding the needs that may be underlying their distress, then collaborate a tailored approach for them to address those needs in ways that are healthy and sustainable. Jhocelyn provides individual therapy as well as relationship counselling. Jhocelyn will also be available to conduct WPATH assessments for individuals who may require this as part of their gender affirmation process.
